About Kirsten
Kirsten is an Aboriginal woman, whose mother is Yamatji from Perth, WA and father is African American descent. Kirsten has lived in the USA as well as other countries (Japan, Guam) due to her father’s military career.
Kirsten’s educational/professional background is Bachelor of Primary Education and Masters of Educational Studies with a concentration in Educational Leadership and Guidance/ Counselling. Kirsten’s has a passion and desire for education and to promote education on all levels. As well as engaging with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, emphasising the importance of higher education and preparing them to meet their goals in life.
