The Reconciliation Action Plan

A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a document that sets out an organisation's commitment to promoting reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the broader Australian community.

The University's vision for reconciliation is for a holistic, inclusive and two way relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians based on mutual responsibility and respect.  This relationship requires that each member of the University community develops deep respect and an understanding for the cultures, knowledge and values of the many clans and language groups that make up Indigenous Australia.
