We provide a range of services at Murrup Barak to students, staff and the community.

Based on the Parkville campus, Murrup Barak is located in the Old Physics Building (Building 128).

To ensure a safe environment, Murrup Barak is only available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students via swipe access using a Staff/Student ID. If you require access, please get in contact with us.

If you are looking for additional advice and help with studying at the University of Melbourne, you can also contact Stop 1 if you are a current student. If you are looking to study and are not of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, you can submit an enquiry here.

    Thinking about studying at the University? Contact our Outreach team who provide one-on-one support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples interested in study at the University.

  • Current students

    Contact our Student Success team if you are currently studying at the University.

  • Teachers, Support Staff and Schools

    Contact our Outreach team if you are a Liaison Officer, Careers Counsellor, Community Worker, or Teacher working with someone interested in tertiary study.

  • Indigenous Tutorial Access Scheme (ITAS)

    Contact our ITAS Coordinator if you are a student or tutor enquiring about the Indigenous Tutorial Access Scheme.

    If you are an employer looking to promote to students, you can list your opportunity on Careers Online, a self-managed, free service that the University provides for promoting job opportunities to current students, graduates, and alumni.
