The University of Melbourne is committed to fostering an environment where the relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people is characterised by mutual respect and positive relationships.
The University's senior leadership is guided by the Traditional Owners Advisory Group and the Indigenous Strategy Reference Group, working closely with Associate Provost, Professor Marcia Langton and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous), Professor Barry Judd.
As of March 2023, the University is progressing its Indigenous strategies to continue its support of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student cohort, staff and the community. You can find out more information about University policy on the RAPs, Indigenous strategies and reports page.
If you are seeking further information about University policy please contact the Indigenous Strategy team.
