The University of Melbourne is committed to fostering an environment where the relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people is characterised by mutual respect and positive relationships.

The University's senior leadership is guided by the Traditional Owners Advisory Group and the Indigenous Strategy Reference Group, working closely with Associate Provost, Professor Marcia Langton and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous), Professor Barry Judd.
