As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person these benefits include, but are not limited to:

Eligibility

Special Entry Access Scheme

The Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) is a single application that you make with your Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) application. SEAS covers access and equity programs offered by tertiary institutions, including the University of Melbourne. By completing this application, you will be considered for all the access and equity programs from the tertiary institutions included in your preference list.

There are a range of eligibility categories that you should consider, including ‘Recognition as Indigenous Australian’. We encourage you to select all the categories that apply to you. You can find out more about SEAS through VTAC.

Eligible candidates who have completed a SEAS application will be able to access the benefits of Access Melbourne at the University of Melbourne.

Important things to consider

There is no fee for completing a SEAS application. The deadline for SEAS applications close before VTAC applications. VTAC and the University of Melbourne will not accept late SEAS applications.
